Ray managed to pick one of my favorite songs, Nocturne in F Minor, Op.55, No. 1, by my favorite composer, Chopin, as the basis for his theme. Talk about setting a high benchmark. I could probably prattle on for hours about why nobody could even come close to Chopin. But I dove into writing a solo piano theme. As I started to try and write, my weaknesses, fears and short comings all began to mutate into a timeless carnival sound made from broken clock parts and glockenspiel.
